Funding Expands Crisis Intervention Training – With the rising need for behavioral health crisis care, de-escalation education among first responders has become even more critical. The ability to assess a scene, ask the right questions, identify a person experiencing a mental health crisis, and alter tactics as needed requires training, knowledge, and awareness.

SpeakUp ReachOut provided suicide prevention training to 3,700 students and 2,000 adults in the Eagle River Valley over the past year because of the incredible generosity and compassion of individuals and businesses in our community. Vail Resorts EpicPromise Employee Foundation in particular supports our suicide prevention programs for students.
Vail Health’s Eagle Valley Behavioral Health (EVBH) provides funding to local organizations that are improving the behavioral health of individuals and families. Our partnerships with Trio Therapy Partners and Vail Valley Salvation Army provide innovative programming that reflects the vibrancy of the Eagle River Valley as a community.
