Shaw Cancer Center patients Dani Abramowitz and Bill Schane express their gratitude for all the resources provided by Spirit of Survival and credit Shaw Cancer Center’s dedication to more than medical healing as a big reason they’ve been able to manage their diagnoses and thrive with them.
One of the most important things they cited was working with Erin Perejda, LCSW. Perejda and colleague Kristin Grems, LPC provide counseling services to patients and their families, helping them process and find meaning in their situation.
