Celebrating the Last Pink Vail on March 26-28, 2021
For nine years, Pink Vail, the world’s biggest ski day to conquer cancer, has provided locals, cancer survivors, staff, and visitors from around the world the opportunity to raise funds for Vail Health’s Shaw Cancer Center while commemorating loved ones or their own battle with cancer. 2021 will mark the 10th anniversary of Pink Vail and also the last year of the event.
We are proud of the incredible growth the event has experienced during the past decade, well beyond what we had envisioned. Our goal was to showcase Shaw, help fund the Spirit of Survival program, and secure its future success. During the past nine years, you have helped Pink Vail raise more than $5 million to ensure complimentary programming for our cancer patients now and for years to come.
The decision to make this the last year of Pink Vail was not an easy one to make. While Pink Vail will look different this year because of the ongoing presence of COVID-19, we are excited to share the undeniable Pink Vail spirit during this 10th-anniversary event.
We hope you will be a part of Pink Vail this year, March 26-28, 2021 by either participating or donating. If you registered or donated money last year your efforts are still on the site and will roll over to this year’s event. We are looking to our participants to register and fundraise online like they always have. Then, pick a day between March 26-28 to celebrate! Ski at your local mountain, take a hike or snowshoe, or simply go for a walk. The idea is to find your own way to commemorate a loved one or your own battle with cancer. As always, we will have great prizes from our incredible sponsors to reward participation efforts.
We want to encourage you to join in this incredible event either by donating or participating, especially this year, since it is our last Pink Vail. For more details about this year’s event, please visit www.pinkvail.com.
