GE Venue Ultrasound

Our state-of-the-art point-of-care ultrasound at the Vail Health Borgen Family Emergency Department and Trauma Center (ED) is enhancing quality and patient care safety and supports the professional development of providers and nursing staff. The GE Venue Ultrasound technology package was made possible through benefactor support and provides fast and precise care when it matters most.

The GE Venue allows our ED and Trauma team to efficiently obtain high-quality images of the heart, lung, abdomen, and much more with ease during emergencies and traumas.

iSimulate REALITi

iSimulate REALITi is a realistic cardiac rhythm simulator that allows teaching and reinforcing life-saving skills to nursing staff and providers throughout Vail Health’s operations. It has advanced capabilities that illustrate a multitude of cardiac rhythms, waveforms when providing CPR and provides real-time CPR feedback on the quality of compressions and ventilations to the learner. It is utilized to support adult and pediatric life support training and education. Because of benefactor gifts, we are able to use this device to increase knowledge, competency, and confidence when our nursing staff face emergencies in the clinical setting.
