EVBH Honored by AHA as One of Five Programs to Earn Dick Davidson NOVA Award
Yesterday, the American Hospital Association (AHA) announced that it will honor five programs with the Dick Davidson NOVA Award for their hospital-led collaborative efforts that improve community health. We are proud to share that Eagle Valley Behavioral Health (EVBH), an outreach of Vail Health, was one of the five selected programs to receive this award.
The AHA Dick Davidson NOVA Award recognizes hospitals and health systems for their collaborative efforts toward improving community health status, whether through health care, economic or social initiatives. EVBH’s It Takes A Valley Campaign was created to transform the Eagle Valley’s behavioral health system and landscape by joining forces with a multitude of local organizations across the valley to achieve this vision.

This year’s AHA Dick Davidson NOVA award winners demonstrated this commitment through partnerships and innovative programs that address urgent and immediate public health challenges,” said AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack.
