Hike, Wine & Dine Returns for Its 18th Year

Local Restaurants Host Gourmet Tasting Stations in Support of Vail Health Shaw Cancer Center’s Spirit of Survival Program and Jack’s Place

Vail, CO—Hike, Wine & Dine returns to Beaver Creek Mountain on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Adventure through vibrant autumn trails, sample food and drinks from local restaurants, and celebrate with friends and family — all in support of cancer patients and survivors in our community.

To date, Hike, Wine & Dine has raised over $1.9 million for cancer care. This event combines the beauty of nature with the culinary delights of our local community. Attendees will enjoy a five-mile hike featuring gourmet tasting stations hosted by some of the best local restaurants. Participating partners include Beaver Creek Chophouse, Blue Moose Pizza, Dang Sweets, Grouse Mountain Grill, Mountain Fish House, Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, The Osprey, Rimini, Stoke & Rye, and Vail Mountain Coffee & Tea. Beverage sponsors include Avon Liquor, Vail Brewing Co., and West Vail Liquormart.

The event aims to give attendees a memorable experience while supporting Vail Health Shaw Cancer Center’s Spirit of Survival program and Jack’s Place. Thanks to the community’s continued generosity, both programs are able to support cancer patients and survivors — from Jack’s Place, which offers overnight lodging for patients and their families during treatment, to Spirit of Survival, which provides personalized, whole-person survivorship care spanning fitness, nutrition, physical therapy, and emotional support.

“On behalf of our staff and patients at Shaw Cancer Center, I want to extend heartfelt thanks to our incredible community as we look ahead to this year’s 18th annual Hike, Wine & Dine,” said Sue Franciose, Hike, Wine & Dine Event Chair. “Thanks to your continued support, this event helps provide vital care to cancer patients and survivors in our community. Every step taken and every dollar raised brings hope and healing to those facing cancer. We are grateful beyond words for our community’s continued commitment to this cause.”

Full hike tickets include breakfast, tasting stations, and access to the Après Party. The event concludes with live music from local favorites Laughing Bones and Turntable Review, along with additional food stations at the base of Beaver Creek. Attendees will also learn more about Shaw Cancer Center’s impact on cancer patients. Those who prefer not to hike can purchase Après Party tickets separately. Online ticket sales close on September 18, 2026.
